Mangools KWFinder: what $30.50 a month actually buys

KWFinder gives 100 keyword lookups a day on its cheapest plan, shows volume, difficulty and the live results on one screen, and allows no extra seats at all. Prices read 24 September 2026.

Three plans, one unit
What the three Mangools plans cost a month, billed monthly. Prepaying a year drops Basic to $18.85 a month; Mangools labels that annual toggle “Save ~35%”, and the saving is largest on the cheapest plan. Read on 24 September 2026.

The short version

KWFinder is the cheapest keyword tool on this site that feels like a complete product rather than a demo, and its Basic plan costs $30.50 a month or $18.85 a month if you prepay $226.20 for a year. For that you get 100 keyword lookups per 24 hours, each returning up to 200 related suggestions, with volume, difficulty, a trend line and the live results page on one screen.

It is the right tool for one or two small sites. It is the wrong tool if you need seats for colleagues — the Basic plan allows none at all — or if you pull thousands of keywords in a sitting.

What it puts on the screen

You type a seed word and choose a location, and KWFinder returns a list of related phrases with four things attached to each: an estimated monthly search volume, a difficulty score, a cost-per-click figure and a twelve-month trend. Alongside it, the results page for the selected keyword is shown with per-result metrics, so you can see what you would be competing with without opening another tab.

That single-screen layout is the actual product. Every tool in this category has the same four numbers; the difference is how many clicks and how much configuration sit between you and them, and KWFinder has the fewest of any tool covered here.

Mangools says its own database holds "2.5 Billion related keywords" and supports "~ 65 k supported locations", which is the vendor's count of the vendor's index. It is quoted here because a claim about size is part of what you are buying; it is not repeated as a fact, because nobody outside Mangools can verify it.

Is Mangools KWFinder worth $30.50 a month?

For a single site owner doing keyword research a few times a week, yes, and the annual price makes it easier: $226.20 for the year works out at $18.85 a month, against a list price of $366.00. Mangools labels the annual toggle "Save ~35%".

The three plans differ almost entirely on volume of work, not on features. Basic is $30.50 a month with 100 lookups per 24 hours and no extra seats. Premium is $40.50 with 500 lookups a day and three extra seats available. Agency is $70.50 with 1,200 lookups a day, five extra seats, and the only daily rank refresh in the range.

The price of an extra seat is not printed anywhere on the pricing page, so it is not quoted here. If a second person needs access, that is a question to ask before subscribing rather than after.

The Mangools link is marked sponsored and pays this site a share of what you spend if you subscribe. You pay the vendor’s list price either way, and the share does not move anything up or down these pages. The whole arrangement, written down.

The free account is a genuine trial

Mangools gives a free account with 5 lookups per 24 hours, 15 related keywords and 5 competitor keywords per lookup. That is small, but it is the same screen the paid product shows, which makes it a better test than a feature-limited demo.

There is no time-limited free trial of the paid plans. Instead the pricing page promises a refund: "If you are not satisfied we will issue a full refund within 48 hours of your payment. This does not apply to 2 consecutive subscriptions." Forty-eight hours is short, so plan to use the tool properly on day one.

What to watch before you subscribe

  • Subscriptions auto-renew. Mangools states it plainly: you are charged each month or year until you turn it off.
  • The lookup counter is per 24 hours, not per month, so it does not bank. A heavy research day cannot borrow from a quiet week.
  • Rank tracking on Basic and Premium updates weekly. If daily positions matter to you, that is a different category of tool and a different budget.
  • Mangools bans coupon sites and brand-name advertising in its affiliate terms, so any site waving an "exclusive KWFinder code" at you is either breaking those rules or inventing the code.

Who should not buy it

Two groups should look elsewhere. The first is anyone who works in batches: if your habit is to sit down once a fortnight and process six hundred keywords, a rolling daily cap of 100 is the wrong shape of allowance, and a monthly quota — or SE Ranking's uncapped entry plan — will suit you better even at a higher price.

The second is anyone who needs a second person in the tool. Basic's "No extra seats available" is unambiguous, and moving to Premium for one colleague takes the annual cost from $226.20 to $316.20. That is still cheap by the standards of this category, but it is a 40% jump for a single seat, and it is better discovered now than at renewal.

Where it sits against the alternatives

Billed monthly, Ahrefs' $29 Starter plan is slightly cheaper than KWFinder's $30.50 and puts a much larger database behind it, at the cost of a credit system and a plan that cannot take add-ons. Prepaid annually, KWFinder's $18.85 a month undercuts everything here except Ubersuggest's $12 Individual plan, which is cheaper still and thinner. Above all of them sits SE Ranking at $129, whose entry plan simply stops counting lookups.

If you want that comparison with every price in one table, the eight keyword research tools with their entry prices is the page. If the question is really KWFinder against the big suite, KWFinder against Semrush's Keyword Magic Tool puts the two entry tickets side by side.

Questions about KWFinder

Is KWFinder free?

There is a free account with 5 lookups per 24 hours, 15 related and 5 competitor keywords per lookup, and no card required. It is not a time-limited trial of the paid product — it is a permanently small version of it. The cheapest paid plan, Basic, is $30.50 a month or $18.85 a month prepaid annually, read 24 September 2026.

How many keywords can I look up on KWFinder Basic?

100 keyword lookups per 24 hours, with up to 200 related keyword suggestions returned per lookup. Premium raises that to 500 lookups a day and Agency to 1,200. The counter resets on a rolling 24-hour basis rather than monthly, so unused lookups do not accumulate.

Can two people share one KWFinder account?

Not on Basic, which states that no extra seats are available. Premium offers three extra seats and Agency five. Mangools does not publish what an extra seat costs, so ask before subscribing if you need one.

Does KWFinder give accurate search volumes?

Mangools claims on its own product page that it has "exact search volumes and the most accurate keyword difficulty". That is the vendor's claim about its own product. This site did not test it and neither, as far as we can tell, has anyone with access to Google's real numbers — because nobody outside Google has them.

What is Mangools' refund policy?

The pricing page says a full refund is issued within 48 hours of payment, and adds that this does not apply to two consecutive subscriptions. That is a narrow window, so use the tool properly the day you buy it.

Buttons on this page are partner links, marked sponsored. If one turns into a subscription, this site keeps a share of it, and you pay the vendor’s list price either way. Several tools recommended here pay nothing at all, and those are named too — the whole arrangement is on one page.
